Stoney Lonesome Farm's 8th CSA Harvest Season will begin in just 3 short weeks, if all stays on track, and things at the farm are beginning to look quite green. I made a short trip there this week to see what was coming up and to anticipate the treats ahead. It felt like Christmas with little presents being unwrapped as I walked along the garden edge and read the tags on each row. Lots of treats in store..here's a sneak peek of just a few...
You can count on the Swiss Chard - this one is called "Bright Lights"
Onions are standing straight and tall -
seems like just yesterday they were planted,
Peas are loving the warm sunshine now that their covers are off
All of the gardens are lookin' good and full of deliciousness .
