Week One - It's Official - the CSA Season has begun

The sign greeted us in the newly organized distribution shed, and the list of pickups was ready to go. The 8th Harvest Season for Stoney Lonesome Farm has arrived! First harvests for both Sunday and Wednesday are now behind us and lots of early vegetables are being served up tonight at the kitchen table. What are you going to do with your bok choi? or your swiss chard?

This blog is the place to share your ideas and your recipes. During harvest today many different ideas were bantered back and forth as we reminisced about harvests past. But only a handful of us heard those ideas, so don't be shy - email CSAfarmgirl@gmail.com and share those yummy ideas with the whole Stoney Lonesome Family. We're counting on you!

So happy the season has started!

Enjoyed a side sish of stir-fried bok choi with Asian seasonings for dinner on Wed. night. Made a fantastic entree salad on Thurs with the greens and radishes.

Tonight, we sautee the Swiss chard with garlic and red pepper flakes. Mmm.
